Walleye and Wild Rice Cakes

A note about my recipes.  I’m assuming you have good cooking skills. I’m not going to fill this page up with step by step pictures.  One to three photos should be enough and then you can get right to the recipe!


Walleye and Wild Rice Cakes (you can substitute any white fish. Pollock is an economical alternative.)

1 cup cooked wild rice
2 cups cooked walleye, large flaked
1/2 cup unseasoned bread crumbs. Panko or regular
1 egg
1/4 cup mayo
1 1/2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning or your favorite seasoning blend
2 tsp. Sriracha

Mix all together, shape into patties and saute in a small amount of butter or oil (or a combination of the two).
