
Prepare the Wild Rice
Put 4 cups water, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 cup wild rice in a saucepan.
Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cook for 1/2 hour or until the kernels have fully blossomed.

Prepare the Fish
I love this saucepan! I use it all the time for steaming vegetables. For this meal, I made the wild rice in the saucepan without the steamer top section, then set it aside to cool.
Next, I steamed the brussel sprouts, careful not to overcook, and set them aside.
Lastly, I steamed the fish just until it flaked. Set it in the fridge to cool.
The same pan did all the prep work.
Combine all ingredients.
Form into 3" patties, 3/4" thick.
Melt 1 Tbsp butter (or your favorite cooking oil or spray) in a pan.
Cook patties for 7 minutes on each side .
