First Pattern Finished

I absolutely don’t remember when I started this project. Probably about a year or more ago. The thing is, there are so many things that grab my interest! As soon as I realized that I would be using Adobe Illustrator for my patterns, then getting to know Adobe Photoshop became something I needed to do. NEEDED!

I’ve also been working on reducing my stash of fabrics and laces.  Not that I have tons of it. I’m not a big stash kind of person. But I do want to live a cleaner and simpler life.

At the forefront of all that I do, is the desire to have a stream of income when I am older.  I have no idea what the future holds. I’m simply trying to be prepared.

Here’s my Baylee pattern envelope and a screenshot of the instructions and the actual pattern.

Pattern envelope for Baylee, a loose and comfortable hoodie.

A lot of work goes into developing a pattern, grading it into several sizes and then bringing it into Adobe Illustrator so I can create the PDF file.  The different sizes need to be sewn and checked for accuracy.
