I drove over to Itasca State Park for forest bathing. I love that term!
Of course, the camera came with.
I consider this first photo quintessential Minnesota – the bog, sloughs, potholes of water, hidden in the forests.
Itasca is the home of the headwaters of the Mississippi.
Hundreds of people were at this location and dipping into the waters.
It’s a beautiful area, but would want to visit again on an off-day. Too many people.
One thing I noticed, so many people were getting out of their cars and walking the paths to a designated attraction, whether it be the headwaters or the tower. No one seemed to look on either side of the path where so much beauty is.
Get out there!
